The sound sculpture shift was part of the group exhibition Schausammlung 2023 of LTK4 - Klangbasierte Künste Köln curated by Rochus Aust and Verena Barié, which was shown from 25.10.2023 - 04.11.2023. A standard oil barrel equipped with an exciter hung sparsely lit in the bell tower of the Luther Church in Cologne's Südstadt district.
The minimalism of the visual part of the work is also continued in the composition. Based on the work Fit in, the sound material used consists of recordings of marine life and sonar signals transposed into the bass range and transformed beyond recognition by analogue sound manipulation.
