Shift sound sculpture · 200 l oil drum, body shaker, 12 min · 2023
The same oil drum as in fit in, hung in the bell tower of the Lutherkirche in Cologne-Südstadt, low enough to stand under. A body shaker mounted to the drum plays a twelve-minute composition built from underwater recordings of marine life and sonar signals, transposed into the bass range, played back through the drum and recorded again.
