SLOW BELL binaural miniature · 1:51 · 2024
SLOW BELL was written in January 2024 for the Slowslam music design contest at Trossingen University of Music, which asked for a piece of no more than 180 seconds using only a supplied set of recordings of everyday actions and objects: a vacuum cleaner, an apple, a printer, a baking tray, a hamster, tubular bells. The bells appear with their attack removed. Slow bell is an engine order telegraph command for slow speed. It won first prize.
