SLOW BELL is a binaural miniature composed in January 2024, which won first prize in the 'Slowslam' music design contest at the Trossingen University of Music. The task of the competition was to create a piece with a maximum duration of 180 seconds using provided recordings of everyday actions and objects, such as a vacuum cleaner, an apple, a printer, a baking tray, and a hamster.
The piece was featured at PAYSAGES | COMPOSÉS - Écologie sonore · Musiques de recherche in September 2024 in Grenoble, and on the radio show EARS HAVE EYES on CJSW 90.9 FM, Golden Co-op Radio, and New Adventures in Sound Art – NAISA Radio.
